Join the Edmonton Recital Society for their first full-length, in-person season in over two years! All performances begin at 2:00PM.

The Edmonton Recital Society is a registered, incorporated non-profit music society and registered charity, dedicated to enhancing Edmonton’s artistic and cultural life with world-class concerts in intimate settings. Most performing artists have connections to Edmonton and many are local up-and-coming stars. The Edmonton Recital Society offers innovative and inspiring concerts in an intimate setting. Get up close to world-class artists, many with ties to Edmonton, as they perform beloved masterworks and exciting new compositions.

Season Line-Up
September 25: The Tanya Prochazka Memorial Concert
This beautiful performance will feature Tanya’s former student, Kathleen de Caen, on cello, and longtime friend and colleague Janet Scott Hoyt, on piano. Venue: Muttart Hall, 10050 MacDonald Drive NW.

October 16: Oktoberfest
Come celebrate Oktoberfest with the Edmonton Recital Society, as they present a concert featuring an all-star cast of brass players from our own Edmonton Symphony Orchestra! Venue: Muttart Hall, 10050 MacDonald Drive NW.

February 19: Trio de Montréal
The Edmonton Recital Society are excited to welcome Trio de Montréal, featuring violinist Axel Strauss, cellist Yegor Dyachkov, and pianist Ilya Polataev. This will be their debut performance in Edmonton! Venue: Muttart Hall, 10050 MacDonald Drive NW.

March 5: Lafayette String Quartet
Joined by ESO violist Clayton Leung, and playing a piece composed by Edmonton’s Vivian Fung, join the Lafayette String Quartet for their farewell tour. Venue: Muttart Hall, 10050 MacDonald Drive NW.

April 30: High Level Trio
The Edmonton Recital Society close out their season with the High Level Trio, featuring three of Edmonton’s finest musicians: Ewald Cheung, violin; Ethan Filner, viola; and Julie Hereish, cello. Venue: Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 10037 84 Avenue NW.
