Amanda Schutz is an artist/ illustrator from Canada's artistic hotbed, Edmonton, Alberta.

 

Her illustrations have been in campaigns, magazines, children's books, and exhibitions across Canada and the United States. 

 

Amanda's square job is as Owner and Creative Director at Curio Studio. She is the past-President of the Graphic Designers of Canada, Alberta North Chapter, and, more recently, has started focusing on a new design advocacy project called Canadian Women in Design. In 2022, she was named a Fellow of the Design Professionals of Canada (the Society's highest honour).

 

She enjoys design, art making, nature, teaching kids or adults, and collaborating with positive-thinkers. Her favourite inspiring artists include Matisse, Picasso, Christoph Niemann, Dana Tanamachi, Penelope Dullaghan, and Craig Thompson.
