Holly Boone has been a mixed media artist for more than twenty years, but in 2014 she discovered her passion for needle felting.

 Holly taught herself the basic techniques of the needle felting process after being inspired by fibre artwork at the Alberta Craft Council where she volunteered. After years of practice, she now showcases her needle felting work at several gallery shops throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and has been included in several exhibitions. She also teaches her felting skills to others through workshops and demonstrations.

Holly creates a variety of quirky and fun needle felted items including animal & monster sculptures, ornaments, cards, and jewelry. She is constantly thinking of ways to further develop her felting skills and to incorporate these new ideas into other unique handmade creations.
