Northern Ghost Studios is a one man show, run by Leo Lemke, from Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton), Alberta. Leo is primarily a self-taught artist, having spent years developing skills in the traditional arts of sketch and painting. He initially began fostering a career in pottery in the Spring of 2020, alongside working to graduate from Victoria School in June of the same year.

He is inspired by dark, gothic aesthetics as well as a variety of flora and fauna, exploring the makeup of various critters and their skeletal structures through illustrative sgraffito. His work could be summed up as spooky, warm, and eclectic.
