Mary Paranych was born, raised and educated in Edmonton, Alberta. She taught school for 36 years for the EPSB. After retirement, Mary returned to her interest in oil and watercolour painting, and has spent over 40 years as a member of the Edmonton Potters Guild. She has several painting and pottery showings at various events in Edmonton and area.
