TIX at Home

Posted on: March 22 2022

At TIX on the Square, our team will always help you find unique gifts that reflect Edmonton's story and landscape. With locally made photography, clothing, books, art, and fine craft, including jewelry and pottery, TIX is one of few in the city that supports Edmonton and area artists exclusively. Whether you are looking for a meaningful gift, memento from your trip to the city, or something indulgent for yourself, TIX showcases a wide range of iconic and up-and-coming Edmonton artists and makers!

As a part of the Edmonton Arts Council (EAC), our goal is to support and promote a vibrant arts community in Edmonton. Through connecting with other arts organizations to host small exhibits, holding TIX artist pop-ups through the summer months, and featuring TIX artists in newsletters, on social media and in shop, we are working to connect the public with the talented artists and organizations in our city.

To encourage more support for TIX artists, we've launched a giveaway! Simply show us how you use or display TIX goods in your home for a chance to win! Check out the giveaway over on our Instagram profile, @tixonthesquare, for more information and encourage others to share their love for their favourite local TIX artists.

While many from our team have multiple items and artwork from the shop that they wish they could share, here are just a few to start us off!

Kendra's apartment wall is full of art from Canadian artists, with TIX artist appearances by Gloria Ho, Joel Koop, SNAP, Stephanie Simpson and Yu-Chen (Tseng) Béliveau. If you also have a feature wall in your home including artists from our shop, please share a photo with us!

Heather Shepherd's vase looks great next to these plants in Danny's space. We know we're well known for having a great pottery selection, so please share your TIX pottery finds with us over on your social media using #TIXatHome!

Shelby always has a book on the go at work, her collection of Funicular Magazines are always up to date and her favourite way to read is by lighting a candle or some incense in her Natty Face incense holder. Have you bought a book from TIX recently that you would recommend? Please share your review with us by tagging @tixonthesquare on social media!
